Yes, that have been a problem for some people. I think that the fact that you have the English and not the German version, is the reason rhy it wont work.

Well, i dont think that the 2009 version will work with anything from LS2008. Because they are use a complete new psychics ang graphics-engine, called xaitEngine (www.xaitment.com/english/products-overview/xaitengine.html). It should be much better graphics and psychics with less computer-power. So it could work on both hi- and low-end computers. But to stick to the topic. You can just buy the German version and then change the language yourself. It isent that expensive. Thats what i did

Jist changes the lines in language.xml. I could also change it to danish, wich is my spoken language, but the game does not spuuport those three extra letters we us here: Æ/æ. Ø/ø and Å/å. Dunno why we have them, because they are stupid But we still use them tough.

There is a couple of grass fields in the English version but you don't get all the cattle, muck-spreader or anything else which is in the mod. Here's how to install the grass mod into the English version: ***Edit*** I recently reformatted and cleaned up my system after buying a new graphics card and then wondered why the grass mod wouldn't install after following my own instructions lol. Sorry but I didn't realise I'd already installed and uninstalled the German version previously when I created the empty folder, it must have to be in the registry first.
1.Install"Landwirtschafts Simulator 2008" and then go to the folder in C:\program files. Open the folder and delete everything. 2. Click on the Grassmod.exe and install. 3. Go back into the new Landwirtschafts-Simulator 2008 folder, open the DATA folder and remove the following 3 files: i18n_de, language and Missions_de. This is so your language remains English. Return to the main folder (back button) 4. Select all and copy the remaining files in the Landwirtschafts-Simulator 2008 folder (ctrl+A). 5.Open the Farmer Simulator 2008 Folder and paste the new files into it. Overwrite when prompted
BEWARE this will overwrite any other mods so back them up first. You should then be able to add seperate mods individually.
Hope this helps. Dave
