A ATI Radeon HD4850, 512mb is what i currently have in my PC. I can run it with all details in max in the highest resolution.
But you know that it also depends on the rest of your hardware?

just coming up to 2 and a half but, it is in very good condition and I could put a 400GB hard drive in, a 4GB RAM memory and a 512 mb nVidia Geforce 9800 GT graphics card
Here are the specifications for the Graphics Card
Graphics Controller GEFORCE 9800GT Memory Interface 512MB TV Output YES Card Interface PCI Express 2.0 Clock speed 600 mhz Per pixel shading YES Fill rate 33.6 Anti-aliasing YES

You Wrote "thats a damn good computer there." (i hope to build the computer to that standard, the overall cost will hopefully be £202.97, i don't have to pay for the computer because i can swap my laptop with my dad for his computer, my laptop is currently better than his computer but the graphics won't run LS and can't be upgraded)

Well.. that not a damn good computer. The GFX is outdaten, 4GB ram isent that much anymore and 400GB harddrive isent that much either. It will make a good PC for LS, no doubt about that. I still think that you schould go for that buy. Seems to be good value for the money. (My self, i just ordered this card: www.club3d.nl/index.php/products/graphics/item/338
icegoggle" timestamp="1225476889" source="/post/360/thread"]sweet (Good Build Not Buy), I Hope To Get It To This Standard
You mean that you buy the parts and build youself? I do the same. Gives you more insight in what hardware you have and most of the time, better quality for the money
