Hi guys do you or anyone you know harvest willow? , we are thinking about starting some soon because we have 400 acres of woodland not being used only for shoots so we might grow will in and buy a claas jaguar or somin!

They do some of it here in Denmark. What i could find out of it, was that they use a forage harvester with a maize header to chop it. Then stored to dry out and then used for burning in heating systems (thanks Dan ) used to heat water for houses: Hope that was what you meant

we have this willow for cricket bats we had about 20 trees and we made £20,000 for it so we are thing of putting 50 or so trees of them in
